Parade Fest 2021

Missed artistic, educational and urban columns of Parade? This year we’re going to a journey called “Culture of Transition”.

How have Ukrainian cities and consciousness changed in 30 years of independence? Have we become more responsible, tolerant and open? Have we learned how to build public space together? Can we distinguish a fake story from reality and media manipulation from the truth? And who is “we” anyway?

The third Parade-Fest asks these questions directly. Our program includes an exhibition about the architecture of housing for displaced persons, inconvenient readings of shootings in Ukraine, lectures about underground journalism and human rights movements, a performance art laboratory and unique shows of contemporary performances.

On 9-11 of September, Kharkiv and its streets. Come!

You can support us and donate here.

Our partners – the festival of social innovations and new music and PLAN B, KharkivPride, the platform “My City”, NGO “Theater of Change”, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv.

The project “Festival Parade-fest 2021” is implemented within the partnership program “Culture. Tourism. Regions” of Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, the State Agency for Tourism Development.
